How our granules are made

Tyres are cut and shredded into coarse chips. The chips are ground into granules at room temperature, magnets pull out the steel, air lifts off the fibre, and the rubber is screened into size ranges. The process is mechanical from start to finish. Nothing is burned. See the full process.

Choosing a size

Coarser granules suit shock-absorbing base layers and thicker mats. Finer granules suit top layers, turf infill and smoother finishes. Tell us your application and the binder or system you use, and we will advise the grade that fits.
