What you get
Recycled tyre rubber, milled fine and cleaned, ready for compounding, moulding and road binders.
Up to 30 mesh
Graded by mesh. 30 mesh is about 600 micron, the size Indian standards set for crumb in rubber-modified bitumen.
Ambient grinding
Ground at room temperature with granulators and mills. No freezing, no chemicals, nothing burned.
Steel and fibre removed
Magnets pull out the steel wire and air separators lift off the textile fibre before screening.
50 kg laminated bags
Easy to stack, store and move by truck or container.
Car and truck tyres
Made from passenger car (PCR) and truck and bus (TBR) tyres, bought across India and abroad.
Made to order
Produced in our own plants in the quantity, mesh and packing your order needs.
Where crumb rubber goes
Fine crumb is the most versatile grade of recycled tyre rubber. Ambient-ground crumb has a rough, irregular surface that bonds well.
- Rubber-modified bitumen for roads
- Moulded rubber goods: mats, tiles, blocks
- Reclaim rubber and compounding
- Binder-based sports and play surfaces
- Gym and stable flooring

Crumb rubber in Indian roads
Rubber-modified bitumen blends fine crumb rubber into bitumen for road surfacing. In India its specification is set by the Bureau of Indian Standards in IS 17079:2019, which requires the crumb rubber used to pass a 600 micron sieve, about 30 mesh.
Crumb rubber modified bitumen is also one of the recycled end products recognised under India's Extended Producer Responsibility rules for waste tyres. Our guide to EPR for waste tyres explains how the system works.

Ambient-ground versus cryogenic crumb
Crumb rubber is made in two main ways. We use ambient grinding, which tears the rubber at room temperature and leaves a rough particle surface with more area to bond in bitumen and moulded goods. Cryogenic grinding freezes the rubber with liquid nitrogen and shatters it, giving smoother particles at a higher running cost. Read more on our recycling page.

Common questions
Short answers to what buyers ask us most.
What mesh sizes of crumb rubber do you supply?
Our standard crumb is graded up to 30 mesh. If you need a coarser grade, such as 20 mesh, tell us your requirement and we will confirm whether we can produce it.
Is your crumb rubber suitable for rubber-modified bitumen?
Under IS 17079:2019 of the Bureau of Indian Standards, crumb rubber for rubber-modified bitumen must pass a 600 micron sieve, which is about 30 mesh. Our crumb is graded to this size. Bitumen producers should test every lot against their own specification.
How is the crumb rubber packed?
Our finished crumb rubber is packed in 50 kg laminated bags, which are easy to handle, stack and transport.
How is the crumb rubber made?
By ambient mechanical grinding at room temperature. Used car and truck tyres are cut, shredded and ground, magnets remove the steel, air separation lifts off the fibre, and the rubber is screened by mesh. Nothing is burned.
How do I ask for a quotation?
Send us the mesh size, the quantity you need, the delivery location and your timeline through our contact form, or email info@krishnaexports.xyz. We reply by email.
